Laser portraits
I use photography as a means of self-expression, to identify with hidden qualities of my character, to better understand my reality and to express my interpretation of the world around me.
My goal is to use my camera to open an unexplored world, a place of curious self-expression, but also a world of new relationships, new opportunities for new beginnings and most importantly, new stories.
My choice of the theme is the integration of new technologies on art and all the possibilities coming from this combination. I seek the unknown and I use laser light to discover new objects into the shadows, stories that are not obvious at first that reveal the unusual in common objects.
I am inspired to compose with the contrast of light and shadow, while the laser light used to make drawings on the area chosen. Curiously, the results become very interesting and the shape of the images changes with the interference of the laser beam.
Eu uso a fotografia como um meio de auto-expressão, para me identificar com qualidades escondidas do meu caráter, para melhor compreender a minha realidade e para expressar a minha interpretação do mundo ao meu redor.
Meu objetivo é usar minha câmera para abrir um mundo inexplorado, um lugar de curiosa auto-expressão, mas também um mundo de novas relações, novas oportunidades de novos começos e o mais importante, novas histórias.
Minha escolha do tema vem da integração de novas tecnologias à arte e todas as possibilidades vindas de tal combinação. Eu procuro o desconhecido e eu uso a luz do laser para descobrir novos objetos dentro das sombras, as histórias que não são óbvias a principio que revelam o incomum no comum.
Fico inspirado para compor com o contraste de luz e sombra, enquanto uso a luz do laser para fazer desenhos sobre as superfícies escolhidas. Curiosamente os resultados tornam-se bastante interessantes e a forma das imagens também muda com a interferência do raio laser.
